We all love and hate IKEA. It’s soo boring, and everyone has it. But come sunday afternoon, and we find ourself at the local IKEA store aisles with our hats on to avoid being recognized by people (everyone you know is also there, wearing hats of course). Well, I’m here to tell you, there’s nothing to be ashamed of. Throw those hats in the trash and walk proudly in that aisle. And just to prove it, here’s some of my favorite IKEA pieces from the 2015 catalog (why don’t you share your favorite items right here?).
Ekerö armchair - This 60’s armchair that IKEA offers is a slice of retro heaven.
BRASA from IKEAS 365+ collection - This lamp is retrotastic!
Sillerup carpet - Love this carpet. Black and white can never go wrong.
STOCKHOLM candlesticks - These Svenskt Tenn looking candlesticks still wins points with me.
The new lamp from the PS collection - It’s ugly at the point where it becomes cool.
Strind sidetable - Sofisticate this table by making it into a cocktail table
VITEMÖLLA lamp - We live in an old building with beams and battens in the roof, would love to have this industrail looking lamp up there and black and white photos on the wall.
Vittsjö tables – These clean and modern tables goes anywhere. Bedside table? Yes. Coffee table? Yes. Side table? Yes. Also, tip is to spray paint these babies!
Ranarp lamp - Here’s some industrial love for you.
ÄPPLARÖ lounge combination - The lounge collection is comfortable and stylish at the same time. Look at this awesome combination (who wouldn’t wanna snuggle up in there with a glas of wine or a have a cocktail party?).
