This weeks favorite barbecue

Summer is not over, there is still time to go for that delicious barbecued food (at least this is what I am telling myself).

My favorite food on the barbecue this week would be lamb, broccoli and parsnip. What’s yours?


Rosemary and garlic lamb
(4 persons)

Ingredients
4 pieces of lamb
about 1 dl (0,4 cup) of fresh rosemary
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 dl (0,2 cups) of olive oil
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
0,5 tsp of fresh lemon juice

This is how

1. Chop rosemary, press garlic and pour in a plastic bag together with oil, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

2. Put lamb in the bag and leave out in room temperature 3-4 hours before putting on grill.

3. Put on the barbecue but do not turn more then once.


Delicious marinated broccoli

Ingredients 
1 fresh broccoli
1/2 dl (0,2 cups) of olive oil
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
1 tsp dried french herbs

This is how

1. Pour oil and spices in to a bag/bowl

2. Cut broccoli under its “head” so that you get smal broccolis, put them in the bag/bowl and stir

3. Put on the barbecue and barbecue until they get some color


Easy breezy salty parsnip

Ingredients
parsnip
oil
salt

This is how

1. Clean the parsnip in water (do not peel), cut of the end and then cut it in half.

2. Rub it with oil and then give it a rich salt.

3. Put on barbecue until it has become crispy.

  1. I remember a time when I hesitated putting lamb on the grill… those days are soo gone. This looks delicious.
