Sunday school – painting radiators

Earlier this week I posted about my handy woman skills and how you need to await inspiration for this kind of thing. Well, I felt further inspired. This is really an affordable way to refresh your rooms.

You’ll find two tutorial videos further down in this post (please note that I’m not a professional, just a home doer).

First of all, you need tools. Wet cloth, putty knife, radiator paint (I managed two radiators on 0,75 l paint) , roller, paint brush and a painting tray.

Clean with a wet cloth and remove old paint (we have this gray splashes of paint everywhere, previous painter was not, shall we say careful?) or dirt using a putty knife and adding some pressure.

  1. Hi,

What a great post! I have been trying to get this done for years, but this was my final push! Love your pics and the movies are great for a newbie like me!

    Keep on going!

    • Mimmi! I’m so glad to hear that, thank you! Hope you’ll be satisfied (I’m quite convinced you will) with your new white radiators! :)
