Kiwi and Chia Seed Dessert Cook-off

Me and H wanted to try making Chia seed pudding in different ways, we decided on a cook-off. These are the two competitors and we decided on a tie. H’s pudding was very tart fruity and refreshing that you easily could serve as a dessert and my warm pudding actually tasted like rhubarb and felt very breakfast compatible.

H’s Cold Kiwi Chia Seed Pudding

Cold Chia Seed and Kiwi Pudding

2 tbsp chia seeds
3 tbsp tap water
2 kiwis

This is how
1. Peel kiwis and blend all with a hand blender.

2. Leave in fridge an hour or so.

3. Serve as it is or with some cream or yoghurt.


Warm Kiwi Chia Pudding

Warm Chia Seed Pudding with Kiwi

3 tbsp chia seeds
3 dl (1,2 cups) tap water
2 kiwis
0,5 tbsp honey

This is how
1. Peel and chop kiwis and put in a pan. Blend them so that you get mushy chunks.

2. Add water, chia seeds and honey.

3. Let simmer about 30 minutes.

4. Serve as it is or with yoghurt or cream.
