Mind The Home is a free home management tool that helps you track tasks, bills, inventory, and documents for your home. The service is provided by Mind The Home ("we", "us", "our").

2. Account & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Mind The Home. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. User Data & Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Mind The Home, including tasks, items, documents, and photos. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to use your data to:

• Provide and improve the service
• Generate contextual product recommendations and advertisements
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns (anonymized)

We will never sell your personal data to third parties.

4. AI Features

Mind The Home includes AI-powered features such as voice transcription and document analysis. These features are provided for convenience only and do not constitute professional advice. You should not rely on AI-generated suggestions for important decisions about your home, finances, or safety.

5. Contextual Recommendations

We may display product recommendations and affiliate links based on your home data (e.g., suggesting a filter replacement when your HVAC task is due). These recommendations are contextual and not based on tracking your behavior across other websites. We earn a commission when you purchase through affiliate links.

6. Service Availability

Mind The Home is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data accuracy, or uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mind The Home and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim (which, for a free service, is zero).

8. Data Backup

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we are not responsible for data loss.
